Kit for the QuiltKC exclusive pattern (pattern by Heather Buchwitz for QuiltKC) using fabrics from the upcoming Graywork line of fabrics in fall 2025. This quilt is constructed using foundation paper piecing with fussy cut focal images featuring the 8 focal images in the Graywork line.
This quilt makes a great throw size for the modern, grey, animal lover in your life.
Many of the kits released for this line are quilts using 30-40 fabrics. Here at QuiltKC we love using precut packages and a smaller fabric footprints while highlighting placement & design - but in this case we did use the entire line by incorporating a fat quarter stack containing all of the main line & True Colors fabrics!
The kit includes everything you need to make the quilt top just as it shows including the pattern & details regarding all of the fussy cutting. The kit does not include binding or backing fabric. For this kit we suggest facing the quilt & it does include instructions to use the fabric of your choice to create the facing. If you haven’t seen a faced quilt -it’s very easy (I think easier than binding (no mitering corners!) and allows the quilt to finish as it appears in the pattern without an extra ‘frame’.
